A couple of days ago, we went on a tour of the Normandy countryside to see various sites related to the D-Day invasion. A room (in Bayeux, France) with a view
After pretty close to 24 hours of travel, we finally made it to our Airbnb in Bayeux in Normandy, France. Soccer Fans and Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square) in Amsterdam
Rembrandt, rowdy Ajax soccer (football) fans, and a hearty rendition of Sweet Caroline - excellent combo!
Keukenhof Gardens – Amsterdam
Spent a lovely day at Keukenhof Gardens in Amsterdam but sadly missed prime tulip season. They did have a really nice flower show there and although flower shows aren't really my thing, the displays were amazing. Check out my other pics and posts on Amsterdam!
Amsterdam Photos
Giant inflatable tulips, triple X hotel decor, Dutch apple pie and pannenkoeken. What's not to love? Here are a few photos from my trip to Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago. Hope you enjoy!

Sunday brunch in Strasbourg
We visited the Bistrot & Chocolat in Strasbourg yesterday - this place knows how to do a really nice brunch, highly recommend. Nice mix of sweet and savory (or as they list it, sucré et salé), all in a lovely presentation.
Strasbourg, France
he Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg (aka, the Strasbourg Cathedral). It was originally built in 1015 and later destroyed by fire. The present cathedral was completed in 1284. The spire was added in 1439 and was the tallest in Christendom for four centuries. Isn't it gorgeous?
Breakfast Voucher
I found this breakfast voucher from my hotel in Copenhagen this morning and gave it to my husband. He made me an omelette. #Winning. I have the best husband. I also have 4 more vouchers... 😀
