Renaissance Soul Randomness
An eclectic mix off things that demanded my attention. Pushy little things, aren’t they?
Today, I was the grateful recipient of truly outstanding customer service, courtesy of Fitbit, and want to give a special shout-out to Carly there. So, what made this experience so great? For starters, the response time on my help requests was phenomenal. I had purchased an Aria wifi scale and couldn’t get it to connect to my wifi network. These days, it seems that the internet has become overrun with cats: LOLCats, Grumpy Cat, the adorable perma-kitten Lil Bub, and the new creepy-but-cute Princess Monster Truck. Now, just in time to delight cat lovers (and to annoy non-cat lovers), there’s a new cat on the web, but this time, it’s a font. Yes, a font made entirely of cats. They’re intended for both men and women, and each pack is helpfully […]

Using a combination of an MRI machine, a computer program, and web images (note to […]
Last week, the Zuck announced the latest in Facebook‘s efforts to someday live up to its pre-IPO hype: Facebook Home. Home is a group of apps, or a super app, that turns your Android phone into a host organism for Facebook. Depending on whether or not you like Facebook, this could be a parasitic or symbiotic relationship. Home turns your innocuous home screen into a Facebook feed, called a “Cover […]
