Fear of criticism
Fear of being judged incorrectly
Being a person who likes privacy yet posting in a wide open public space
Figuring out what topic to even write about
Caught between wanting to dash off a quick thought and feeling like your post draft has to be perfect to publish
No time to flesh out drafts (see above)
Will anyone even care or read what I write?
Everything has already been said before
In the spirit of thumbing my nose at these things, I made a few minor edits, didn’t spend 30 minutes trying to find just the right image for the post (with proper permissions and attributions), threw in a few tags, didn’t even bother to format my list as bullet points, and hit the Publish button.
