Several years ago, I stayed at a resort in Cyprus and fell in love with a small chest that sat on the bedside table. Open the lid and you see a map of the room with little buttons that let me turn on and off all the lights in the room and the fan, all without getting out of bed.
This time, I’m in Copenhagen and my room features a different but useful thing:
Props to this hotel for replacing the annoying card stock “do not disturb” door hanger with this much less annoying and far easier alternative. Wouldn’t it be fabulous if it was as easy as pushing a button to get housekeeping or room service at home? The DND option would be a bonus for introverted folk like me who sometimes just need some alone time.
