After years of thinking about upping my photography game with something more advanced than a point-and-shoot and months of deliberating over which cam to buy, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a serious piece of equipment.
I opted for a micro four thirds (MFT) / mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC) for DSLR-quality images and control in a much more compact body size.
Now I just need to learn how to use it!
PS- the irony of using my cell phone cam to take this picture wasn’t lost on me.
