I took these on my last day in Cyprus. A few of my co-workers and I decided to venture further out from the resort. We took a walk on the beach and ended up on a mountain.
Had to time my passage between these rocks just right to avoid the spray. On the way back, it got me. I had Mediterranean all down my back.
I thought it was interesting that the further down the beach we went, the smaller the rocks got. Towards the end where the beach met the rocky slope of the mountain, it was more like tiny pieces of gravel.
I wish I would have taken a video of this – the waves bring the rocks in and then when the wave recedes, the rocks jumble around and it sounds like Rice Krispies in milk.
A view of the village from about halfway up the mountain.
I think my co-workers are part mountain goat. I was wearing flip flops, so I didn’t make it up quite that far.
I thought this rock formation looked like a dinosaur head. Do you see it too?
Beautiful fields of wildflowers in the village
Um, don’t you mean yield? 🙂
