I’m planning to do a quick series of themed picture posts from my Cyprus trip. Here’s the first one with pictures of the Columbia Beach Resort where I stayed.
My room, the night I arrived.
I need one of these for home. It’s a little chest on the night stand that opens up to a map of my room and switches for all of the lights and fan.
Um, something tells me I’m not in America anymore.

The spa with indoor heated pool
Our dinner entertainment one evening
The beach – the further down we walked, the smaller the rocks got until they were like gravel

The front entrance
The chapel at the resort

And then of course, there are the cats. Cypriots appear to have a special place in their hearts for cats. The resort serves as a cat sanctuary and rumor has it that you can adopt their cats if the mood strikes you. The cats roam freely – some are very friendly, others not so much.
I found this kitty sleeping by my door each night.
Don't just sit there! Share this!

Thanks for stopping by and reading my post! The resort was lovely – a bit remote, but it would be perfect for a relaxing get-away. The staff was very attentive and friendly and this time of year, it wasn’t crowded at all. The staff did say that in the summer season, it does get pretty full.
I’ve got more pictures coming and will post them over the next several days of some of the surrounding areas. I hope you’ll stop back by again and have a look. Enjoy your travels!
